Our Constitution

       CHAPTER I

  • NAME:

The K1 FANS CLUB WORLDWIDE of King Wasiu Ayinde Olasunkanmi Marshal, shall come together to be named K1 FANS CLUB WORLDWIDE.

  • OPENING PRAYER

 An opening prayer must be observed at all meetings of K1 FANS CLUB WORLDWIDE   and this must be strictly adhered to by all chapter meetings.                

  • CLUB ANTHEM

There will be a club anthem after prayer

  •  
  • CLOSING PRAYER

            Members shall observe closing prayer at the end of all meetings.

  • LIMIT:

The use of the name shall be limited to;

  • The local, National, and International members and individual members of this club.
  • Groups or affiliates who are recognized and approved by the leaders of this club.
  • IDENTITY

All members must have an identity card. To get a copy of the identity card, members are expected to pay the sum of 1,000 naira (One Thousand naira). This rule is hereby stated as amendable, liable to change anytime. The identity cards shall be renewed every 2 years.

  • APPLICATION FOR AFFILIATE:

All local organizations or group applying for affiliation or re-affiliation are required to use only the name K1 FANS CLUB WORLDWIDE followed by the branch where the club is located.

  • FORFEIT:

The right to use the name shall be automatically forfeited if any group refuses to abide by the rules and regulation of the club. Similarly, any member that goes against the rules and policies of the club will also be automatically terminated and will cease to be a member of the club henceforth.

In addition, any member that deletes him/herself from any of the club’s social media platform henceforth ceases to be a member of the Club.

  • RESIGNATION

Any member may terminate his/her association and may cease to be associated immediately upon its lodging notice of its wish to do so with the Secretary.

  • ANNUAL DUE:

An annual due of 3,500 naira would be paid by Nigerian members, while diaspora members pay equivalent   amount base on their currency value (Three Thousand Five hundred Naira) all members are expected to adhere to this for all members must be financially updated before they can claim to be a member of   K1 FANS CLUB WORLDWIDE. This rule is hereby amendable, liable to change/amendment any time. While all states member shall pay 1,000 monthly to their various states.

  • MODE OF DRESSING

All members at meeting shall dress decently to the satisfaction of the club chapter. Indecent dresses of any kind are not allowed at meetings. Any member who is found wanting in the above act will have to pay a fine of   N500 (Five Hundred Naira).

  • MEETING

Meeting shall be hold once in a month

  • ABSENT FROM MEETING

All members are advised not to be absent from meetings for three consecutive times. Apologies must be sent to the Chairman/chairperson 24hours before the meeting day. Members that do this must pay a fine of 2,000 (two thousand naira).

 

  • LATENESS TO THE MEETING

Any member that comes to the meeting 30 minutes after the meeting shall be subjected to pay a fine of 500 naira (Five Hundred Naira). This amount is subject to amendment in future

  • FIGHTING AND ANY FORM OF MISCONDUCT

King Wasiu Ayinde Olasukanmi Marshal is known for peace, therefore, all members are expected to emulate this. Any member that is found wanting in any form of misconduct like fighting, stealing, verbal abuse and other acts that can tarnish the image of the club, such member shall be suspended or permanently excused from the club.

Also, members should not post any other information on all social media of K1 FANS CLUB WORLDWIDE unless information relating to the objectives and principles of the club.

  • MEMBERSHIP WELFARE

Members that have personal party at hand shall be entitled to financial support from his state assembly.

CHAPTER II

DECLARATION OF MISSION, PRINCIPLES AND CREED

2.1.      MISSION STATEMENT

K1 FANS CLUB WORLDWIDE Mission shall be “To bring together K1 FANS CLUB WORLDWIDE of King Wasiu Ayinde Olasunkanmi Marshal in order to network, dine, wine, protect member’s rights and give back to the immediate society.

2.2. VISION STATEMENT

K1 FANS CLUB WORLDWIDE vision shall be “To be the Corporate Social Responsibility organization recognized around the world.

2.3. PRINCIPLES

The principles of K1 FANS CLUB WORLDWIDE consist of the following;

  • God first
  • Loyalty and Good faith
  • Accountability of all members and Executives
  • Service to humanity
  • Fairness
  • Love
  • Value of human personality
  • Giving to the needy
  • 100% Loyalty to King Wasiu Ayinde Olasunkanmi Marshal
  • Cooperative / Loan to members

2.4. POLITICS

The club shall refrain from any partisan political activity and shall not undertake the promotion of any political party or individual, unless otherwise stipulated by the President and Executives.

2.5. RELIGION

The club shall refrain from religious activities. This shall not be construed as a prohibition upon any member from engaging in religious activities which are acceptable to his own belief.

2.6. AGE LIMIT

To join the club, candidates must be 18 years old and above, matured minded and ready to serve humanity.

2.7. LOAN FACILITY/COOPERATIVE SAVINGS

A loan has been set aside to be distributed to members for use. Any interested member are to apply for the loan with the information of their guarantor and that of their next of kin and Cooperative Society Savings Shall also be done accordingly as stipulated by the Executives.

2.8. MEMBERSHIP

The club encourages all state Chapters to abstain from any discrimination, hence, Chapters are encouraged to establish a provisional membership period of a minimum of three (3) months to allow for orientation, activation and induction procedures.

2.9. RULES AND REGULATION

The club has the right to castigate any members found in the act of public assault, members must compose themselves during meetings or when in the public. Any negative or abusive utterances are also prohibited and are subject to penalty as stipulated by the Executives

CHAPTER III

GENERAL ASSEMBLY

3.1. SUPREME AUTHORITY

The President shall have the supreme authority of the club and he shall direct the affairs of the club.

3.3. WORLWIDE EXCO

  • There will be Worldwide Executives and shall be nominated by Worldwide president
  • Worldwide president and K1 De ultimate must attend any chapter anniversary or send representative. 
  • Worldwide President must be informed on all social activities in the club.
  • Worldwide President is entitle to P.A in each country and such person will be appointed on merit by Worldwide President.
  • Such P.A has right to vote or voted for in any position he/she like to contest for in national/state level

There shall be State and National Assemblies only.

3.4. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILLITIES

The President shall;

  • Receive and act upon reports from the Executives
  • Receive and act upon reports and general recommendations from the Executive members of all states and nations

Leaders meeting of each country shall hold every Third Sunday of every last quarter of the year. A due of 1,000 naira (One thousand naira) shall be paid by each leaders.

3.5 K1 DAY

King Wasiu Ayinde Olasunkanmi Marshal shall be celebrated across the world every 5th of January. This date is selected because King Wasiu Ayinde Olasunkanmi Marshal created his band on the 5th of January 1971. This rule is hereby stated not amendable.

3.6. QUORUM

A quorum for the meeting shall comprise 6 members in attendance with either chairman/chairperson, the vice respectively or Secretary to coordinate the meeting.

3.7. VOTING PROCEDURE & ELECTION

The election of officers shall be by secret ballot system. The number of votes received by each candidacy shall be announced to the National Forum

A representative of National body will be represented at all state election as umpire.

A representative of worldwide National body would be invited as umpire to conduct the national election.

There will be a week period of campaign by contestants/candidates for election through online forum

There shall be electoral committee to conduct elections both at National and State level. The committee shall selected by the worldwide president

Each member are entitle to maximum of two(2) tenure in a position

Leaders shall act as delegates during national election primaries.

State election will hold two weeks after national election.

Result of the election shall be announced by the chairman of electoral committee same day of the election or next day

CHAPTER IV

4.0. BOARD OF TRUSTEE

Board of Trustee shall be Worldwide President, Past National Chairman/Chairperson, and Secretaries of each Country and others nominated by Worldwide President.

OFFICERS

4.1. EXECUTIVE OFFICERS

Aside from the World Wide President whose post remains unopposed, the national elected Officers of the club shall be using 2 years on the post, and the positions available are;

 Patrons and Matrons shall be chosen based on their affinity and love for K1 music.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The officers of the club shall;

  • Carry out duties assigned by the Chairman.
  • Make recommendation to the President with respect to their assigned duties.
  • Attend all meetings, including State and National.
  • Promote the ideals and passion of King Wasiu Ayinde Olasunkanmi.
  • Conduct themselves in a manner befitting the club.
  • Pay all club dues.
  • Members welfare should be more paramount to all elected officers

INDIVIDUAL DUTIES

National Chairman/chairperson: The Chairman/chairperson shall serve as Chief Executive officer of the organization. He/She shall preside at all meetings. He/She shall supervise the preparation of meetings and events, and shall direct the overall operations of the organization. He/she shall report to the Executives.

Vice Chairman/chairperson: In the absence of the chairman/chairperson, the vice shall be the next in command and maximum respect shall be accorded to the individual.

National Secretary:

The Secretary shall be the Chief administrative officer of the club. He/she shall report directly to the Chairman/Chairperson and shall be responsible for the operation of the club and the implementation of policies according to the direction of the Chairman/Chairperson.

Assistant Secretary:

In the absence of the Secretary, all duties expected by the Secretary shall be executed by the assistant secretary.

Financial Secretary:

The Financial Secretary shall be to administer all matters of finance. He shall keep all financial records of the club and shall provide all the documents when asked to do so. Lastly he shall work in collaboration with the Treasurer.

Treasurer

The Treasurer shall chair the Finance Committee and shall be responsible for the financial affairs of the club and shall keep the executive members informed of the state of the club’s finances. He/she shall prepare the club’s account for the financial end of the months and year respectively.

The Treasurer in conjunction with the Financial Secretary shall supervise the administration of financial records in the hands of the Secretary and shall recommend fiscal policies to the executives.

Auditor:

The Auditor shall Collect and analyze data to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, extravagance, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, club’s policies.
He/she must report to club about asset utilization and audit results, and recommend changes in operations and financial activities.

The Auditor shall prepare detailed reports on audit findings and Inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency, effectiveness, and use of accepted accounting procedures to record transactions.

The auditor has the right of access at all reasonable times to the accounting records and other records of the club and is entitled to require from an officer of the club the information and explanations the auditor requires for the purpose of auditing the club’s accounts.

PRO:

The public relations officer shall represent the club as the face that the media representative. The public relations officer must be ready to work during tedious period. The public relations officer shall also be in charge of communicating information about the club to the general public. He/she shall create publications that the general public will read in order to generate interest in attending club’s events and activities.

The public relations officer is the media’s main contact for news about an organization or company.

The PR officer writes press releases for the media about upcoming events, and cultivates relationships with members of the local and national media. The PR officer might also host media conferences when special events happen.

Welfare Officer:

Shall see to the welfare and care of all members at social gatherings and meetings. The welfare officer shall also put a call to members that have been absent from meetings and other gatherings.

Social Director:

The Social Secretary shall:

 (a) Be responsible for coordinating social and entertainment activities, privately sponsored or organized by the club

 (b) Keep a diary of social events in the Club with a view to avoiding a clash of functions where possible

 (c) Be the Chairman of Social committee.

Chief Whip

The chief whip shall be responsible for coordinating lateness and maintaining decorum at club activities and collection of fines as stated by the executives.

TERM OF OFFICE

The term of office shall be for two (2) years to commence immediately after election and renewable by election.

NOMINATIONS

All nominations for elective Officers must be made on the prescribed form accompanied by proper fee and forwarded to the Secretary not later than 30 days before Election Day.

NOMINATION COMMITTEE

The Worldwide President shall appoint a nomination committee

The duties of the Nominations Committee shall be to:

  • Examine and verify the nomination papers submitted by candidates
  • Examine and evaluate candidates’ abilities to carry out the duties of the office being sought.
  • Check if the candidate has paid all dues expected of him/her.

OATH

All officers-elect and officers designate shall take the following Oath or Solemn Declaration of Office, to be administered by the World Wide President:

“I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the office of _____________ K1 FANS CLUB WORLDWIDE and will to the best of my ability serve as a living example of this club’s philosophy and belief and will uphold and enforce the Constitution of this club at all times.

CHAPTER V

CORPORATE IDENTITY

5.1. LOGO

There shall be an official logo of the club, which is reproduced below.

No chapter is allow to use another logo except worldwide logo

5.2. RIGHT TO USE:

The use of the official logo shown above (5.1) shall be limited to K1 FANS CLUB WORLDWIDE members only

 

PATRONS

The club shall have Life and Grand Patrons who are ready to support the club both financially and morally.

They shall be well known personalities in the society; they are to help us by lending their credibility to our cause. They shall also help us encourage people to join our club. They shall serve as the advisers and financial pillar of the club.
